Dispute Resolution Appointment (DRA)
What happens at a DRA?
The court will try to narrow the issues in dispute by hearing evidence from you and your ex-partner.
The court will consider any reports it has ordered to be prepared by Cafcass or the local authority.
Similar to the first hearing, if you and your ex-partner can agree on what should happen with your child(ren), the court will make an order reflecting your agreement, and your case will be finished.
If no final agreement is reached at the DRA, the court will schedule a Final Hearing.
